Road not Taken 6.9%

This beer is inspired by a beer brewed by the ancestors of Moss in the west cork town of Clonakilty, it was brewed circa 1920's when a rumour has it that Michael Collins and his entourage had two pints of this before he took the wrong road Home.

The road not Taken as an idea evokes the idea of 'what if'

What if we had malt to brew with like back then? what would the beer taste like? We are exploring this idea.

This is brewed using a yeast that gives it lager like characteristics, there are plenty of medium roast malts to round out the flavour akin to what less preciesly roasted grains may have give to beer back then.
